Per-service core musician, with chamber music & education/community engagement opportunities

2025-26 Season: September 11, 2025 - April 26, 2026

- 7 concert cycles total plus additional chamber and education/community engagement opportunities throughout the season; total number of services no fewer than 40
- Service pay for 2025-26 season for section position is $146
- Paid travel at $0.67 per mile round trip, maximum 500 miles
- Savannah Philharmonic provides housing with a host during each cycle

Audition Dates:

-November 21, 2024 - January 20, 2025: First Round Online Audition submission window via the Accept’d platform
-January 28, 2025: Applicants notified of first round results
-February 25, 2025: Live Audition in Savannah, GA

Interested applicants should submit one unedited video to the Accept’d platform following the guidelines set for in the repertoire packet. In addition to the video, applicants are requested to submit a resume with two references and a non-refundable $35 application fee. Repertoire should be performed solo, without piano accompaniment. No editing or sound enhancements of any kind are permitted. Please see the repertoire list for excerpt information.

Please note that in order to audition, a candidate must already possess all documentation that allows him/her to work legally in the United States.

Prior to being offered employment with the SPC, all potential employees are subject to the SPC’s administrative hiring procedures, including, but not limited to, reference checks, background checks, etc.
