Section Double Bass Audition:
Audition Date: January 18, 2025
Materials Due: January 3, 2025

Section Compensation: $88.51 per service
Concerts (2024-2025): 6 Classical ($442.55+ per series) and 3 Pops ($265.53+ per series) + travel stipend and available housing options. Additional community engagement services may be available.

Position to begin as determined by the candidate with the Director of Operations. Candidates may be required to submit a video in support of their application. Materials must be received by 5 PM on January 3, 2025.

Audition Repertoire:
Candidates may be asked to play the first movement of a concerto from the standard repertoire and the following excerpts: SEE ANNOUNCEMENT

Auditions are held at the Appell Center for the Performing Arts (50 N George St, York, PA). Check-in begins at 12:30pm with drawing for audition order at 1:00pm.
