Audition for soloists – soprano, alto, tenor, bass

The Choir of the Slovenian Philharmonic announces auditions for soloists (soprano, alto, tenor, bass).

Candidates between the ages of 19 and 26 can apply for the audition. Invitations to participate will be sent based on a video recording, which will be evaluated by the conductor Stephen Layton, and the expert committee.

Audition programme:
W.A. Mozart: Requiem, K. 626 (solo parts)

The solo singing audition will take place on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at 2:00 p.m., while the ensemble singing audition will take place on Friday, November 8, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.

The auditions will be held in the Marjan Kozina Hall of the Slovenian Philharmonic.

The soloists selected at the audition will perform Mozart's Requiem at the concert on Friday, May 23, 2025, with the Slovenian Philharmonic Choir and Orchestra under the direction of Stephen Layton.
