Assistant Concertmaster and Principal Section Violin Contracts - Open applications of interest

The Aalborg Symphony Orchestra is now receiving applications of interest for short- and/or long-term contracts to temporarily fill vacant solo positions in the orchestra:

• Assistant Concertmaster
• Principal Second Violin

Applications are welcome continuously.

We are looking for highly qualified musicians to temporarily fill contract positions as Assistant Concertmaster and Principal Second Violin during 2024.

The Aalborg Symphony Orchestra, with Chief Conductor Joshua Weilerstein is comprised of 65 permanent members and is located in Aalborg, in the North of Denmark. Soloists and conductors this season include Steven Isserlis, Evgeny Kissin, Hans Graf, Michael Schønwandt, Alexandra Conunova and Paul Watkins.
