In the 40 years since the death of Italo Calvino, the masterclass aims to produce one or more radio plays based on the Italian writer's masterpiece.
The masterclass is aimed at composers and electronic musicians.
From an aesthetic point of view, the objective of the course will be to create a sound structure from extremely varied material where the relationship between words, textual content and contemporary musical writing with the use of extended techniques and electronics will have great importance.
An innovative type of masterclass based on an open source creation path that will lead to the production of one or more sound works which can then be broadcasted on various radio stations as well as being performed live as an acousmatic concert.
