A residential course with tutors from the Royal Academy of Music, Royal College of Music, and London Conducting Academy, this year taking place at the University of Chichester.
Tutors: Dominic Grier, Denise Ham, Cathal Garvey and Leif Tse
with John Longstaff (principal accompanist and score study)
Repertoire:
Beethoven: Coriolan Overture
Haydn: Symphony No. 92 'Oxford'
Brahms: Symphony No. 4
Strauss: Die Fledermaus Overture
Copland: Appalachian Spring
The programme includes:
· Full Orchestra sessions
· Instrumental and piano workshops with professional players
· Score study sessions
· Daily technique sessions
· Classes in Rehearsal Technique and Aural Awareness
Course fees include all tuition, accommodation and meals.
For Professional/Advanced/Intermediate Conductors, with a dedicated Beginners' Class.
