Violin Masterclass with Professor Taras Pecheny

Taras Pecheny is teaching a violin masterclass in Zagreb from August 19th to August 23rd 2025. Participants will have the opportunity to perform in the final concert accompanied by our string ensemble. A professional video recording of the final concert will be made and given to all the participants. The best participant will be offered a concert prize with our ensemble in the 2026 season.

Taras Pecheny is a Ukrainian violinist of international repute. He stands out equally in his concert and pedagogical work, and is considered one of the last representatives of Yuri Yankelevich's school. He was the concertmaster of the Ukrainian State Symphony Orchestra in Kyiv, Kyiv State Opera, Maribor Opera, and Croatian Radiotelevision Symphony Orchestra.

Participation fee is 750 euros for active participants, and 200 euros for passive participants. There are eight active spots available.
