Sigismund Thalberg International Piano Competition

Selections are open for the 14th edition of the Sigismund Thalberg International Piano Competition. The Pre-selection audition will be online, whereas the Final audition will take place at the San Pietro a Majella Conservatory in Naples.

The Competition awards prizes for 10,000 euros and is open to pianists of all nationalities, with no age limits.

This competition appears to include an online round that charges over €35. musicalchairs is concerned that the fee for online judging must be commensurate with the value offered to applicants whether they are successful or unsuccessful. Does each Jury member listen to the submissions in full?
