History
OCTOBER 2000 - Musicalchairs is launched. Classical music jobs are listed according to instrument, and available 24/365. Musicians no longer have to seek out various periodicals, wading through pages of adverts. And managers can publish and amend advert details at any time, without worrying about deadlines or irreversible typos! Our key market - the best young musicians leaving Conservatoires and seeking employment - are fully conversant with the Internet, and already expect it to offer this information. The site takes off immediately and word spreads like wildfire among musicians. Its success brings rapid enquiries from managers worldwide
