II.Job Description
1.Teach undergraduate and graduate applied students
2.Coach/lead small ensembles
3.Teach related Pedagogy & Repertoire and courses in one's area(s) of interest and expertise
4.Mentor and advise students
5.Actively recruit students, individually and collaboratively with colleagues
6.Provide employment guidance and suggestions for graduates
7.Maintain an active, dynamic performance career
8.Serve on School of Music and University governance committees as assigned or elected
III.Qualification Requirements
1.Master’s degree in Music or 5 years of equivalent professional experience and accomplishment
2.Evidence of commitment to teaching excellence and effectiveness
3.Ability to teach a variety of musical styles and genres
4.Evidence of accomplishment as a performer
