A French bass bow made ca. 1950’s by the Morizot firm in Mirecourt, France. This bow features an octagonal stick of pernambuco, with bone tip plate, silver winding and leather thumb grip. The frog is striped ebony fully mounted in nickel, with Parisian eyes, pearl slide, and nickel octagonal button with pearl eye. Stamped “L.MORIZOT” Ideal weight 135g. 69cm length, length of playable hair 52cm.
