Early 20th Century French cello attributed to Charles J-B Collin-Mezin and bearing a manuscript label 'Collin-Mezin 1907". In very good playing order.
Length of back: 769 mm. Geared pegs for fine tuning which are in good order and fully functional. New tailpiece with integral fine tuners. New Evah Pirazzi Gold A and D strings in 2023. Various repairs including a sound post crack repair expertly carried out in 2021 with all necessary patches by Sarah Beaton, a recognized UK luthier. Images of the finished repairs are available.
