British Isles Music Festival

In 2025 the British Isles Music Festival will be held at Sherborne School for Girls, Dorset, UK. The festival is an intensive, performance experience, chamber music and master class course for wind, strings, piano, harp and harpsichord. The age group is 18-32. The emphasis is on collaboration. We have 12 distinguished professors who are orchestral principals, chamber musicians and soloists, and who are teaching in conservatories in the UK and Europe. 4 resident pianists work with the students and we schedule 4 concerts each day in which the students perform chamber music, duos and Baroque repertoire. The average attendance is 60 students from 25 countries. Concert repertoire is decided in advance in collaboration with the director, applicants and professors.
