CEME (Contemporary Encounters by Meitar Ensemble) Festival and Master Course, is a unique platform for the promotion of contemporary music, established with the aim of engaging young musicians with the latest developments in the field of New Music. In the upcoming edition the festival is honored to host Carola Bauckholt and Brigitta Muntendorf. They will lead together the CEME composition course, with 24 students from all over the world. In addition to composition lessons, the participating students will write new pieces to be rehearsed and performed by Meitar and by the Festival's guest musicians in dedicated concerts, giving the young composers the opportunity to hear, re-examine and edit their pieces, while receiving feedback on their work from professional performers.
