8th Biennial International Opera Singing Competition “Visioli"

The International Music Federation Onlus is organizing the 8th “Vano Visioli” International Opera Singing Competition, online edition. Participation in the competition is open to all singers who are under 34 years of age as of February 10, 2025.
Participation is conditioned by passing a Preselection based on the submission of a video of 1 opera aria of free choice, in the original language and tonality and from memory.
To participate in the Finals, it is mandatory to send within 10 days of the notification received via email a YOUTUBE link with a recording of 1 opera aria (registration must have been made on or after November 1, 2024).
1600 EUROS TOTAL PRIZES THAT WILL BE AWARDED IN EACH CASE

This competition appears to include an online round that charges over €35. musicalchairs is concerned that the fee for online judging must be commensurate with the value offered to applicants whether they are successful or unsuccessful. Please therefore study the guidelines for this competition carefully:

Is the Jury for the online round published and are they widely respected musicians?
Does each Jury member listen to the submissions in full?
Do applicants receive detailed and considered feedback about their complete performance/score from the Jury?
