VII Ensemble Écoute Composition Competition
With the aim of encouraging contemporary music, discovering young composers from all over the world and promoting their music, the Ensemble Écoute launches the VII Edition of the Ensemble Écoute Composition Competition.
Open to composers of all nationalities, born after January 1, 1988, the candidates will have to submit TWO works for an ensemble of 5 to 18 instruments of free duration written after 01/01/2020
The prize-winning composer will receive 1700€ to write a new piece of about 10/12 minutes for 6 to 8 musicians to be premiered during the 2024/25 or 2025/26 season in Paris.
The application must arrive no later than Tuesday, 31st , December 2024 by email to e.e.concourscomposition@gmail.com
The jury will be conformed by composers Gérard Pesson, Stefano Gervasoni, Mathieu Bonilla (previous composer in residence) and the artistic directors Fernando Palomeque and Rachel Koblyakov.
