Competition
This year, Fort Greene's Conducting Workshop will feature an exciting competition where the best conductor will be awarded a full scholarship. The winner will be determined by a combined vote: 50% from the orchestra members and 50% from the teacher. At the end of the course, each orchestra member will receive a rating sheet to evaluate conductors based on several parameters.

The conductor with the highest overall score will receive the Fort Greene Orchestra Prize of $2,000, and will be added to the roster of assistant conductors of the FGO for the season.

40 minutes of chamber orchestra + 40 minutes with string quintet and piano
