Two Roles Available: Office Administrator // Cataloguer & Workshop Assistant
Overview
Tarisio is the leading international venue for fine stringed instruments and bows with offices in London, Berlin and New York. We are a close-knit group of creative people and look forward to having a like-minded individual join us. We are searching for two new roles at our beautiful new premises beside leafy Regent's Park! ????
Office Administrator:
Working closely with the General Manager, the Office Administrator will contribute to the success of the London office by organising and coordinating client services, managing the front desk, and handling office administration. As the first point of contact for buyers and sellers, the Office Administrator will also develop and maintain positive relationships with our clients. This is a role with plenty of opportunities for growth within the organisation, working with the London and Berlin teams to ensure all administrative requests are understood and fulfilled.
Cataloguer & Workshop Assistant:
Ideal for somebody with workshop experience as a violin or bowmaker, you will be solely responsible for the cataloguing of instruments and bows for Tarisio’s London office. This will include maintaining a watertight Goods In/Goods Out process, initial condition checks of property arriving to Tarisio, detailed cataloguing, dendrochronology, and diagnostic infra-red and ultraviolet photography to support condition reports. This role also benefits from the diverse requirements of the auction cycle, including handling pre-sale administration, responsibility for in-house shipping and packing, and answering property-specific bidder inquiries. This is a fast-paced and physically active role, so please keep this in mind when applying!
