Dohnanyi Academy’s Conducting Masterclass 2025

An excellent opportunity to study in Budapest with outstanding conductor and music educator Mᵒ Gábor Hollerung. A 9-day conducting masterclass with first-class Budafok Dohnanyi Orchestra. Ten sessions with the orchestra and two rehearsals with two pianos for passive participants only. Excellent working atmosphere and focus on deep understanding of repertoire compositions: Mozart: Symphony No 35 in D Major (Haffner) K.385, Mahler: Des Knaben Wunderhorn (excerpts), Bartók: Concerto for Orchestra, Sz.116. Active participation limited to max. 12 highly talented conductors. No age limit. Final concert in the most prestigious and magnificent Vigadó Concert Hall.
