TEACHER: Internationally acclaimed Maestro Edvard Tchizvhel
12 Conductors will get over 100 minutes of podium time. In the morning, conductors will have a session conducting two pianists of the afternoon repertoire. In the afternoon, conductors will conduct a professional chamber orchestra. There will also be video review sessions and special conducting topic lectures (score study, interpretation, programming, auditioning, competitions, etc.) in the evening. All conductors will conduct a piece on the final concert and one conductor will be awarded with an honorable mention for their work throughout the week.
REPERTOIRE:
GRIEG Holberg Suite (movements 1-4 only)
MOZART Serenade no. 12 (all movements)
STRAVINSKY Octet (movement 1 only)
BEETHOVEN Symphony no. 2 (all movements)
BEETHOVEN Symphony no. 5 (movements 1-3 only)
