This immersive programme is designed for young musicians aged 11 to 16 who have reached the standard of Grade 5 or above on any of the following instruments: violin, viola, cello, double bass, piano, harp or classical guitar. Students of composition are also welcome. The course will be led by the teaching staff of the Yehudi Menuhin School, who each bring a wealth of experience and will ensure each student receives comprehensive and inspiring instruction.
The programme includes individual instrumental lessons, chamber music, orchestra and choir, academic music and workshops, and performance opportunities. Participants will have the opportunity to learn and perform alongside a talented group of like-minded young people and enjoy a taste of what life is like as a pupil here. Students will leave the programme not only as better musicians but also with newfound confidence, collaboration skills, and lifelong memories.
