Casalmaggiore International Festival

The Casalmaggiore International Festival is unique among European Festivals in that performing opportunities, vital for preparing a career on the concert stage. Since 1997 our goal is to provide talented young musicians with the highest level of artistic training and meaningful performance experiences in order to prepare them for the world’s concert stages, while broadening their cultural horizons by working closely with musicians from many countries.
Musicians will participate in a three-week program of intense musical study (Piano, Violin, Viola, Cello, Chamber music, Music Direction) with an outstanding international faculty. Professional training in the preparation of repertoire for the numerous rich performance experiences offered is emphasized.
The program takes place in the beautiful, old town of Casalmaggiore, situated in Northern Italy on the Po River plain, in restored 17th and 18th century buildings, including a classical Italian style opera house.
