IDEA Conducting Course 2025
31 Aug - 08 Sep, 2025
The course retraces the strategies used in the preparation of a public concert.
After a first day dedicated to the analysis of the scores, interpretative indications and any technical conventions, the rehearsals are organized as in a normal concert production.
The admitted students take turns on the podium and collaborate together in the concertation of the program. The teacher coordinates and directs the interpretation, intervening, when necessary, on technical problems.
Each student uses the rehearsals of the other students, the indications of the teacher and the suggestions of the composer present as a tutor to achieve the objective.
With few exceptions, all students will conduct one piece of the study repertoire in one of the five public concerts scheduled in Moncalvo and Milano, having a part of the dress rehearsal available to define their own personal interpretative indications.
The best student will be invited to conduct a concert in the Rondò 2026 season (Milan
