IV "Le Gnove Musiche" Biennial Composition Competition

What will the music of the present and the future be like? Which are the musical ideas of composers nowadays? What does ‘new music’ sound like? Answering these questions and supporting young composers are the goals of the "Le Gnove Musiche" Biennial Composition Competition.
The deadline for sending scores is 16th March 2025.
Composers and arrangers who are under 35 years of age at the time of the application submission deadline.
Winners of previous editions may not participate in the competition.
In accordance with the law, the competition has no restrictions on sex or gender.
SECTION A
The winning composer of the first prize for section A will be awarded a cash prize of € 1,500.00 and her work will be included in the publications of Pizzicato Verlag Helvetia.
SECTION B
The composer winning the first prize for section B will be awarded a cash prize of € 1000.00 and the work will be included in the publications of Pizzicato Verlag Helvetia.
