10th International Composition Prize SEM 2025

The competition is open to musicians of all nationalities and without age limits.
Compositions must be for symphony orchestra without soloists, unpublished, not awarded, not performed in public, not broadcast online, broadcast on radio/television or recorded for commercial use.
The maximum planned ensemble includes:
2 flutes (one also piccolo), 2 oboes (one also English horn), 2 clarinets (one also bass clarinet), 2 bassoons (one also contrabassoon), 2 horns, 2 trumpets, timpani, piano, and strings (violins I and II, violas, cellos and double basses)
The duration of the composition must be between 4 and 8 minutes.
The winner of the competition will be awarded a prize of € 2,500, live performance publication by the Pizzicato Verlag Helvetia publishing house.
The registration fee is €50.00.
The deadline for entries is 30 April 2025.
