The enrollment to the 79th edition of the International Singing Competition of Teatro Lirico Sperimentale has commenced and it will be host in Spoleto 19th - 22nd February 2025. The jury: Donato Renzetti (President - conductor), Andrea De Amici (artist manager), Enrico Girardi (artistic director), Giancarlo Landini (music critic), Carmela Remigio (soprano). «If you dare, you'll debut», this is the 79th edition motto. Since 1947, the Teatro Lirico Sperimentale has been selecting emerging singers in order to direct them towards the singing career and - thanks to a 2 educational plan - gives them the opportunity to debut during the Opera season. The competition is open to sopranos and tenors who will be under the age of 32 on 1st January 2025, and to altos, basses and baritones who will be under the age of 34 on 1st January 2025. Deadline 5th February 2025. As for those singers who do not qualify to participate in the competition, free auditions will be held on 23rd and 24th February 2025
