7ème Concours International de Clarinette Jacques Lancelot

The Jacques Lancelot International Clarinet Competition is a binational competition taking place every two years alternativly in France and in Japan. It was born to pay tribute to the great clarinetist from Rouen Jacques Lancelot. The first edition took place in France, at Rouen, in 2012, and the second edition in Japan, at Yokosuka, in 2014. Since then, this alternation had goes on until the 6ème edition that took place in Japan in 2023.
The 7th Jacques Lancelot International Clarinet Competition will be held in France, at Rouen, from October 18th to 25th, 2025 at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional and at the chapelle Corneille.
As this 7th edition is about to begin, our ambition has not changed : helping the best young clarinetists from all over the world to be known by the public.
Prizes global amount is more than 22 000 euros and the 1st Prize winner will have a paid international tour season 2025/2026
