MUSIC ROOM GREGYNOG HALL NEWTOWN
The Gregynog Young Musician Competition was founded in 2005 and has become a prestigious event.
Entrants must be aged 18 or under and have reached Grade 8 or equivalent on any orchestral, brass band or percussion instrument.
Up to 20 contestants are selected to perform in the semi-finals in front of a panel of specialist adjudicators. This takes place for a full day on NOVEMBER 16th, 2024 in the Music Room at Gregynog.
One winner from each of the five different categories is chosen to perform in the finalists' competition. The winners compete that evening for the title of GREGYNOG YOUNG MUSICIAN OF THE YEAR.
The overall winner will receive a prize of £3000 and each finalist will receive a prize of £500.
