Vilnius International Youth Music Competition Premio Scarlatti

The VII Vilnius International Youth Music Competition "Premio Scarlatti" will be held from the 26th to the 30th of October 2024 in Vilnius, Lithuania.
The Main Prize-winner’s Concert will be held on 31st October 2024 in the Great Renaissance Hall of the National Museum Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania.
Application deadline: 6 October.
The Competition is open to Classical chamber music ensembles and performers up to 35 years old, and it is made up of the following four sections:
-PIANO SOLOISTS
-STRING INSTRUMENTS CATEGORY (violin, viola, cello, double bass, guitar)
-CHAMBER MUSIC
-VOCAL SOLOISTS
For the winners, the competition offers: cash prizes, concert opportunities in Lithuania and Italy, masterclasses with jury members and a scholarship for the Piano Winter Academy “Feuerwerk” in Germany, internationally renowned jury.
This year, the prize fund is 5300 euros.
The event is funded by the Lithuanian Council for Culture and the Vilnius City Municipality.
