Royal Guard of Oman
Sound Engineer
The Royal Guard of Oman requires a sound engineer, responsible for setting-up and operating sound equipment for live events, including concerts of classical music (instrumental & vocal) and military bands, recordings and post-production.
Responsibilities will include:
Setting- up & testing sound equipment before events, concerts, broadcasts or recordings
Recording, editing & mixing audio tracks with major DAW (Pro tools, Cubase, Logic, etc,)
Work with video editors to synchronize video with sound
Collaborate with lighting & camera crews
Create & maintain sound archives
Resolve technical issues as they arise
Suitable candidates should have proven experience as a sound engineer in both live event and studio recording environment.
A degree or equivalent qualification in audio/sound engineering is required.
